Registration for the 2017 edition is open and spots are going fast. This year we will feature the back and red edition. All swag (shirt, hat and finisher hoodie) will be in black with red logo. Join us for another epic race and make 400 new friends on the course.
The Blues Cruise is known to give out some great swag. This year is no different. To get you started we gonna have a nice long sleeve tech shirt and a visor or hat for you. The big ticket item however has to be earned. Back due to popular demand is the Blues Cruise Finisher Jacket. The Pagoda Pacers give over 50% of your entry fee back in swag. This is only possible, because this is an all volunteer race by runners for runners. Join us in 2016.
Registration for the 2016 edition of the Blues Cruise 50K is open. As you may know, our course is one giant loop around Blue Marsh lake, and we change the direction every year to keep it fresh and interesting for runners who want to come back to run it again. In 2016 we run the course in clockwise direction, which has a total different feel than running it counterclockwise. I personally believe running it clockwise is a bit faster, because you run the harder sections at the beginning of the race when you are fresher , while the last 10 miles of the race are bit easier. BTW, if you ran the race in the past, or run it again next year, let me know which direction you like better, and which way you think is easier. Start training, October will be here soon.
Finally got the swag picked out for the Blues Cruise (colors tbd). Long sleeve tech-shirt, tech hat and our 2015 finisher award (must be earned) a brightly colored long sleeve 1/4 zip upper garment with moisture wicking stretchy fabric. That's a lot of swag for a $70 race :-)
